About this Role

We are seeking an Ecommerce Trading Manager to join our team based at our beautiful Wiltshire office. Our Wiltshire home is where each of our designs are born. Every team from marketing, product and finance to our bespoke carpenters and delivery drivers live here.

Reporting directly to the Head of Ecommerce, you will be at the forefront of expanding our online retail presence and optimising sales in a period of high growth. Your role will involve formulating and executing strategies to enhance online sales, curating product listings, analysing market trends and collaborating with cross-functional teams to elevate our ecommerce success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Report on daily and weekly sales and KPIs.
  • Co-own trade calendar alongside Marketing team. Continuously assess sales data and industry trends to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Design and implement pricing and promotional strategies that resonate with our audience whilst remaining on-brand.
  • Consult on Automated Marketing initiatives which can be delivered through email and based on the transactional or browsing behaviours displayed on site
  • Optimise initiatives, including cross-selling and recommended product activity to increase UPT and AOV
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of product listings, ensuring they beautifully showcase our product
  • Monitor stock levels, working closely with Merchandising team to optimise product availability whilst mitigating low/out of stock lines
  • Lead initiatives to elevate the online shopping experience, with a focus on improving website navigation, search functionality, and checkout.
  • Keep a keen eye on industry trends and competitors' strategies, pinpointing opportunities for innovation and refinement

Preferred but not essential:

  • Experience of: Shopify, Google Analytics, a high proficiency in Excel


You'll have experience in a similar role, ideally working for a retail brand, and have a proven track record in delivering growth. You will have a strong analytical skillset, with confidence in Excel and Google Analytics (GA4 a plus).
